Founded in 2017 during the early stages of cannabis legalization, swisscann is now one of the key players shaping the medical cannabis market in Switzerland and Europe. Our headquarters are located in Technopark Zurich, while our state-of-the-art production facility in Glattfelden covers the entire value chain—from cultivation and processing to packaging and distribution.
Our goal is to produce medical cannabis of the highest quality while ensuring a standardized cannabinoid composition. To achieve this, we rely on cutting-edge cultivation technologies and strictly controlled production processes. In addition, with a strong focus on the Swiss and EU markets, we supply pharmacies, hospitals, and pharmaceutical companies with GMP-certified products. Our production meets the highest pharmaceutical standards, and all our products embody Swiss precision, purity, and quality.

Vision

The medical potential of the cannabis plant is considered to be very high. Active compounds in cannabis are cannabinoids, with over 60 identified to date. Among these, the most well-known cannabinoid is the pharmacologically active tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), which is increasingly used in medicine for patient treatment. Other cannabinoids, such as cannabidiol (CBD), cannabigerol (CBG), and cannabinol (CBN), also possess various interesting pharmacological properties that are being increasingly studied as part of the legalization process for medical purposes.
